COVID-19 local vaccination update Wednesday
MINOT, N.D. – First District Health Unit will hold a news conference Wednesday at noon to update community members and the media on the local response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The news conference will air on the City of Minot’s YouTube channel and will be livestreamed on First District Health Unit’s Facebook page.
Participating will be Lisa Clute, First District Health Unit executive officer; Dr. Casmiar I. Nwaigwe, infectious disease specialist with Trinity Health and district health officer with First District; Dr. Dawn Mattern, family practice/sports medicine specialist with Trinity Health and deputy health officer with First District Health Unit; and Dr. Jeffrey Sather, medical director at Trinity Health.
Presenters will provide updates and information on the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, safety information on available vaccines, why you should be vaccinated even if you have had COVID-19 and why it is important for communities to continue COVID-19 mitigations efforts.
