Minot police investigate incident in southeast Minot in which officer was struck by vehicle
Minot, N.D. – The Minot Police Department is investigating an incident in southeast Minot after an officer was struck by a vehicle during a response on April 30, according to officials.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 6:54 p.m. to the 200 block of 17th Street Southeast for a reported incident. During the encounter, an officer was struck by a vehicle and sustained minor injuries.
Authorities said the individual driving the vehicle was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation. No further details regarding their condition have been released.
The Minot Police Department is leading the investigation with assistance from the North Dakota Highway Patrol and the Ward County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the incident remains under review, and no additional information is being released at this time.
