Minot fire department gives student unforgettable fire engine ride to school
Minot, N.D. – The Minot Fire Department helped make a young student’s day memorable with a special ride to school in a fire engine from Station 1.
According to the department, a child named Luca was given the opportunity to ride in Engine 1 after his parents won a “Fire Engine Ride” certificate through a community fundraiser. The department donates a limited number of these certificates each year to support local fundraising efforts.
Luca arrived at Edison Elementary School in the fire engine and later helped give classmates a tour of the vehicle.
Officials said the experience was intended as a positive community outreach moment and expressed hope that it would be a lasting memory for the student and his family.
