Accidental shooting reported in Minot, one person injured
MINOT, N.D. – The Minot Police Department is investigating a report of an accidental shooting that occurred around 8:40 p.m. Thursday at a Northwest Minot address.
The initial report indicates a male subject accidentally discharged a firearm, striking a family member.
Police say the female patient was transported to Trinity Hospital with serious injuries.
They also note because this is an active investigation, the identities of those involved and other details aren’t being released at this time.
